Multi Level Marketing sounds like a good thing and a tragic scheme all at the same time. By now you probably know what it is. It’s the business model that, at first glance, looks like a pyramid scheme.
You bring in people to promote products, who do the same with other people and it goes on. Everyone in the pyramid gets paid a commission until it filters on down the system. But, things never go as planned. This is why it would be a good idea to get all of the hidden information about Mary Kay before you dive right in.
One of the more blatant lies circulated by Mary Kay companies is that their new system offers such an easy way to earn lots of money very quickly so that recruits can achieve financial freedom. In reality, Mary Kay isn’t new at all, as it’s been around for a very long time. Sure, it might have only been online since around the mid 1990s, but before this it had already been around for years just through door-to-door, or by annoying friends. By now most people have heard about multi level marketing and know to steer clear of it. This also explains why so many newbies to Mary Kay find it so hard to attract new recruits.
One of the reasons that Mary Kay appeals to so many people is because it looks like it is a way to get plenty of cash without working for it. Surely, you must sell products and get new people working under you in the beginning. But, if you get the right people who know what they are doing, you can let them recruit people while you sit back and get paid. This plan has potential, right? Quite simply, it takes hard work to get the right group of people working under you. You need to train them. You have to select those who will still work for you, even after they find out what Mary Kay is all about. You have to give them some reasons to continue working with you. If a business is going to survive, it has to have workers. Keep this in mind.
How many times have you seen a Mary Kay program advertising the simplicity of just selling some easy products to all your friends and family? More importantly, how many Mary Kay sites have you come across that have encouraged you to recruit your friends and family members? The marketing spiel always makes it seem like you’ll be able to get everyone you know to sell your products to all their friends very easily. In reality, asking people you know to do this is a great way to lose friends and offend family members. You might sell one or two things to relatives who take pity on you but you are unlikely to actually recruit anyone. Making money online is a goal that people, at different times during their life, try to achieve. There are many Mary Kay websites on the Internet. You will probably find a couple of them as you search for legitimate ways to make a steady online income. Don’t get hooked! Mary Kay can look very tempting – especially when you don’t know how many other great methods of online earning there are to choose from. It is in your best interest to not waste your time with these businesses. There is so much more to know about this, far beyond what we have discussed. There are many other reasons to avoid these companies as well.
